A tale of Rainy romance at the Old Dairy Maleny

Last month, despite the persistent rain, our bridal shop collaborated with a talented ensemble of wedding vendors for a captivating styled shoot. Let's delve into the magic that unfolded amidst the gentle drizzle.

Firstly, let us introduce our models, Lauren and Jay. Their engagement lent an authentic depth to the shoot, infusing each moment with genuine affection and connection. Their chemistry? Off the charts.

The shoot was planned and coordinated by talented photographer, Deanna, from That Coastal Photographer, and Phil from Wilson Media Co. They are both super talented and brought this magical shoot to life. Our styled shoot unfolded amidst the idyllic and immaculate venue The Old Dairy Maleny.

Now, let's delve into our contribution to the shoot—the gowns. We meticulously selected three distinct pieces, each embodying a different aspect of romance and feminity.

We kicked things off with "Florie" by Olya Mak Bridal. Think floral, think feminine—this gown was like poetry in motion. Olya Mak Bridal brought the elegance, no doubt.

Next in line was "Sadie" by Delilah Belle Bridal. Timeless romance? Check. Stunning details? Double check. This gown had us swooning.

And then, just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we brought out "Zoli" by Victoria Soprano Bridal. Mini dress vibes? Oh, yeah. Zoli brought the adventure, adding a dash of daring to our shoot.

Lauren looked beautiful in our gowns which were beautifully complemented by the sparkle from jewellery by Leskes Jewellers. The look wouldn’t be complete without the stunning hair by Studio Suz and Makeup by Ricci Jean Makeup. The vibrant florals brought the shoot to life and were supplied by Fiorella Co.

The meticulous touch of styling by Just Picnic Events ensured every detail was picture-perfect. They collaborated closely with stationary by The Print Shed which came together so beautifully. To sweeten the deal and totally enhance the vibrant theme, Maple Bloom Cakes delivered an incredible cake. Of course, we all enjoyed a slice afterwards. (how could we resist??) All our vendors absolutely nailed it. One stand out feature was the vintage car provided by LTD Wedding Car Hire. The rain made for some fun photos with the car. Who says you can’t get stunning photos in the rain!

Our content creator and creative mind behind the concept, capturing all the behind the scenes magic, and posting all our reels onto our Instagram is Amie from Cupid Content Creations.

Bringing the magic of the shoot to social media, we are hoping to get the word out to our followers that colourful accents are in. Do your wedding your way!

So, there you have it—a rainy day turned into a fairytale romance, all made possible by some of the Sunshine Coast’s most talented vendors.
